I am a marriage and family therapist and have had a private practice in Marin County since 1998. I offer individual, couple and family therapy in a safe, caring and professional environment. My office is located in Corte Madera, and currently, I am seeing clients online over Zoom. I hope to start seeing clients in person soon.
In my practice, I use a cognitive behavioral approach towards addressing issues of anger, anxiety, depression, addiction and relational conflict. I also draw from attachment theory, motivational interviewing and narrative therapy. I am a proponent of non-violent communication (NVC). I see couples (together and/or apart), adults, teens, and children (age 10 and older).
My approach to therapy stems from a growth and learning model. I believe we are all growing and maturing; and sometimes we get stuck. My role is to give an outside perspective and assist my clients to the next level of their evolution. In my practice, I provide the tools and skills to help people reach their goals, transition to the next step and align further with their authentic selves.
I provide a safe, compassionate, caring and professional environment for all. My style of therapy is to be active and engaged in the session–I don’t simply listen.
